Eagles Class

Teachers: Mrs F Ellis and Mrs A Hoffman | Teaching Assistant: Mrs S Read

Weekly homework activities include daily reading, times tables practice, a Maths and a Literacy activity. Sometimes children are asked to complete some research for Topic or another classroom activity, e.g. The Big Write.

Spellings are given out at the start of each term, and are tested every Wednesday. We are having a real drive on times tables this year and will be testing children on Tuesdays.

This term homework is collected, marked then sent home again for the following week on Fridays.

Welcome to the Summer Term in Eagles.  In our first topic we will be learning all about where food comes from.  We will also be thinking about sustainability which links into our ECO school work.  In art we will make still life drawings and then progress on to reproducing these in collage.  In Science we will be growing plants from seeds and making observations as they grow.

After half term we will be learning about Roman Life and how it has had an impact on life today.  We will make Roman shields and Roman mosaics.  In Science we will be learning about Eating, Digestion and Teeth.

We have a very busy term ahead!
