Homework

Maths and English homework will be sent out every Friday and should be returned to school on Monday.

In addition, practising the following at home will really benefit learning:

counting forward and backwards in 2’s (0-20), 5’s (0-50), 10’s (0-100).

quick recall of times tables in particularly x2, x5, x10.

Topic

Our topic this half term is Food.
In English we will be learning the story of The Enormous Turnip and writing our own versions.
In Maths we will be revising all the topics we have covered so far.
In our Topic work we will be learning all about food from around the world, healthy eating and how to grow different vegetables.
