Homework

Maths and English homework will be sent out every Thursday and should be returned to school on Tuesday.

In addition, practising the following at home will really benefit learning:

counting forward and backwards in 2’s (0-20), 5’s (0-50), 10’s (0-100).

quick recall of times tables in particularly x2, x5, x10.

Topic

Our topic this half term is The Great Fire of London… In English, we will be looking at the story A Day in London as well as writing diary entries inspired by Samuel Pepys’ famous diary. In Maths, we will be developing strategies for multiplication and division. We will be preparing for our the Christmas Carol Service at the Abbey. In PE we will be participating in a fire dance.
