School Hours & Dates
School Times September 2020
Due to Coronavirus gudaince we will be operating different start and finish times in September 2020. Our new successful ‘one way system’ will remain and thank you for kindly sticking to our blue arrows guiding you around the school to avoid crossing on our narrows pathways. We will also continue to use our staggered start & finish times to reduce the footfall within our car parks / schools.

The car park is to be used ONLY for picking up and dropping off children.
Please show consideration to other drivers and do not double park or park on the double yellow lines (and to our local neighbourhood).
In line with the Government’s guidelines, parental requested absence will only be granted in exceptional circumstances (e.g. military leave). Parents are asked to take their holidays out of term time. Excellent attendance is positively encouraged with a “Best Attendance” certificate being awarded. To support children into the workplace and the adult world SAST schools encourage punctuality and attendance. Persistent lateness and absent (without a justified reason/s) might result in warning letters / fines.
In line with national recommendations, parents are required to contact the school as soon as possible if their child is absent. A phone call or a note via a friend or sibling is best; any verbal message needs to be followed by a note on the child’s return to school.
Similarly, please notify the school if a child has to leave early during the school day, eg to visit the dentist. The school office email can be used as an alternative if required.
