VE Day Celebrations!
To mark VE Day, all children and staff came dressed in red, white, and blue to show their respect and appreciation. The day began with a whole-school assembly where we learned about the importance of VE Day—why it is celebrated, remembered, and honoured. At 12 noon, we joined the national two minutes of silence to reflect and pay our respects. In the afternoon, we had a special visit from Mr Kellaway and Mr Hart, who brought an 80-year-old military jeep and fascinating wartime memorabilia for all classes to explore in the KS1 playground, bringing history to life in a truly memorable way.
