Class Dojo
Every Class has a ClassDojo Account. Your account log in details will be handed out at the beginning of the Autumn Term. You will be able to contact your child’s teacher during the week. Please contact the office on 01935 812619 (opt 2) for absences.

PE & Games:
Alternate Mondays and Wednesdays: Please send children into school wearing their PE Kit on these days.
SPRING TERM ONLY:
Y4 children swimming on Friday mornings – timings and further details will follow.
Homework:
Children in Eagles class have weekly homework, consisting of:

Reading:
Reading aloud to an adult, which should be recorded in their school home contact reading record.
Weekly:
Spellings:
All children will be given new spellings each Wednesday to be practised daily in any way you would like, including rainbow writing and Look, Cover, Write, Check, ready for testing the following week.
All children will be tested on their weekly spellings in school each Wednesday.
Times Tables:
Times tables tests will be completed in school every Friday, using TT Rockstars Soundcheck. This emulates the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check in June 2026.
Times tables homework sheets will be given out every Friday with multiplication / division facts to answer, to help children become competent in recalling tables up to 12×12 by the end of Year 4.
Times tables homework should be handed into class every Thursday.

At the start of every term, a Parent/Carer letter will be shared on Class Dojo, detailing the curriculum coverage for the term and relevant homework suggestions.
Various homework projects may also be set around the termly topic.
