Computing

At our school, computing is an essential part of preparing students for a rapidly evolving digital world. Our curriculum equips pupils with the knowledge and skills to use technology creatively, responsibly, and safely. From learning basic programming and digital literacy in the early years to exploring more advanced concepts such as coding, data handling, and computer systems, we aim to foster curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Our goal is to develop confident, competent digital citizens ready for the future.

The units foreach key stage are based on a spiral curriculum. This means that each of the themes is revisited regularly (at least once in each year group), and pupils revisit each theme through a new unit that consolidates and builds on prior learning within that theme.
