Sherbean Cafe & Fundraising

Welcome to Sherbean Café!

Sherbean Café is a unique and inspiring project run entirely by children aged 9 to 11. Since launching in the spring term of 2023, our young entrepreneurs raise around £1,000 a year!

The café is powered by four amazing pupil-led teams: Customer Service, Marketing, Management, and Operations. Together, they handle everything from brewing coffee to balancing the books.

We offer a delicious selection of treats, including tea, coffee, croissants, pain au chocolate, mini sugared doughnuts and our newest addition — fruit juices. Most items are priced between £1 and £1.50.

All profits go towards funding school trips for our students and each year, the children also choose a charity to sponsor. Over the past two years, they’ve proudly supported the NSPCC and Toilet Twinning, making a difference both locally and globally.

Here at Sherborne Primary School we are currently fundraising towards two main projects:

We’re raising funds to bring more iPads into all our classrooms to enhance learning, creativity, and digital literacy for all our students.

Technology plays a vital role in modern education, and iPads offer countless opportunities for interactive learning, personalized instruction, and access to educational apps and resources. With your support, we can:

Empower students with hands-on learning tools
Support teachers with innovative teaching methods
Foster collaboration and creativity in every subject
Ensure all students have access to digital resources
