Y5 Residential Leeson House!
Our Year 5 pupils have had an unforgettable week on their residential at Leeson House, even with one of the rainiest starts we’ve seen in years!
The children threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm, from their walk to Worth Matravers and village study, to exploring Durlston Country Park and developing their compass skills through night orienteering. They also enjoyed pond dipping, sand dune studies at Studland Bay, and creating impressive Old Harry Rock models. One of the highlights was gathering around the campfire in the evening to share stories and laughter under the stars.
Their behaviour, teamwork, and attitude were outstanding and every child was a true credit to our school.
A huge thank you goes to all the staff who gave up their time (and home comforts!) to make this trip possible. A massive thank you to Miss Layton, Mrs Haynes, Miss Dent and Miss Neate- your dedication, care, and good humour ensured the children had an incredible week full of learning, friendship, and memories that will last a lifetime.
