Our ABC vision and curriculum is underpinned by our values as this is paramount to all that we do in all aspects of school life. We support our values through our curriculum and focus on these in assemblies and collective worship. We focus on one value every half term as part of our two year rolling programme. Our six core values help us build a community where students feel safe to learn, grow, and face new challenges with courage. Teachers bespoke the teaching of these core values to their individual classes which is part of our child-centred approach.

At Sherborne Primary School, our behaviour curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to complement and reinforce our six core values. These values lie at the heart of everything we do and guide the way our children learn, interact, and grow — both in and out of the classroom.
We recognise that fostering respectful, responsible, and compassionate citizens is a shared responsibility. That’s why we place great importance on working in partnership with parents and carers to support each child in developing positive behaviours that will serve them well within school and in the wider world.
