Congratulations to our Netball Team!
On Friday 2nd May, the Sherborne Primary School Netball team drove all the way to Bournemouth and competed in the county finals. As you already know, we won the Sherborne Areas netball tournament, then went to compete at the North Dorset Semi Finals to Win once again – we were competing at county level!
Our Team: Flo, Flynn, Finley, Sofia S, Eden, Iris, Niamh and Sophia B
Unfortunately, we didn’t win (or come second or third!) but we were absolutely incredible!!! We gave it our best and with the help of all our adults and Miss Layton, we got it done. This school hasn’t made it to the county finals for about 20 years!

A message from Miss Layton- final results are in and we came second in our group stage and via the playoffs we came 8th out of a total of 20 teams. A team we drew against in our group actually took 3rd place- so all in all we did amazingly well! So very, very proud of them all.
