Please find below a brief summary of the schools academic data. This data is used by Ofsted and other agencies to grade our school.
The school has several academic measures, including entry data into Year R (baseline), Year 1 Phonics Screening Check and the end of KS2 (Year 6) SATs. These are all statuary from the DfE. Some assessments are teacher assessed and some are formal, external exams.
Each parent / carer receives an academic and personal update on their child/ren within two report cards (during the Autumn & Spring Terms). These include benchmarks of their academic abilities versus their age related expectations, attendance updates and targets to help their child/ren progress further. There are also parent/carer information evenings during these terms, followed by a formal End of Year School Report at the end of the academic year (July).
